Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to use TruTec Instant Takeoffs within OneCrew:

Launch Detection from the Map

• Open your project map in OneCrew.

• Click the Detect with TruTec action button.

Select the Area to Analyze

• Use your cursor to coarsely highlight the area you want analyzed.

• Precision is not required—TruTec will refine detection automatically.

Choose Detection Options

• After selecting the area, a panel will appear with detection options.

• Select the types of elements you want to detect, such as:

  • Asphalt areas

  • Parking stalls (standard and handicap)

  • Striping lines

  • Hatching and markings

  • Symbols (e.g., bike icons, crossings)

• Click Detect to begin processing.

Review Detected Map Elements

• TruTec will process the imagery and return detected objects on the map.

• You’ll see automatically generated elements such as:

  • Asphalt boundaries with curved edges mapped

Edit and Refine Results
