Updating your OneCrew password

If you need to update your password for security reasons or simply want to change it, you can do so directly from your Profile Settings in OneCrew. Updating your password regularly helps keep your account secure and ensures only authorized users have access.

Unlike a password reset (used when you forget your password), this process is used when you are already logged into your account and want to change your existing password.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to change your OneCrew password.

Part 1: Open Your Profile Settings

First, access your personal user settings.

  1. Click your name in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  2. Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. This will open your Profile Settings page, where you can manage your account information.

Part 2: Navigate to the Security Section

Next, locate the area where password changes are managed.

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Profile Settings page.

  2. Find the Security section.

  3. This section contains the controls needed to update your password.

Part 3: Update Your Password

To change your password:

  1. Enter your current password in the required field.

  2. Enter your new password in the Set Password field.

  3. Confirm the new password if prompted.

  4. Click Save to apply the change.

Once saved, your new password will be used the next time you log into OneCrew.

Changing your password periodically is a good security practice. Consider using a strong password that includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols to help protect your account.

Troubleshooting

I don’t remember my current password.
If you cannot remember your current password, you’ll need to use the Forgot Password option on the login page instead of changing it from profile settings.

My password change didn’t save.
Make sure all required fields are filled out correctly and that you clicked Save before leaving the page.

Will this affect other users on my account?
No. Password changes only apply to your individual user account and do not impact other users.
