Notification Settings

Last updated: March 16, 2026

Notification Settings allow you to control how and when you receive updates from OneCrew. By customizing your notifications, you can stay informed about important activity—such as project updates or status changes—without receiving unnecessary alerts.

OneCrew provides two notification delivery options:

  • Email Notifications – Sent directly to the email address associated with your OneCrew account.

  • In-App Notifications – Displayed inside OneCrew through the notification icon in the upper-right corner of the platform.

Each user can configure their own preferences, ensuring you receive the updates that matter most to your role and workflow.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to configure your personal notification preferences.

Part 1: Access Notification Settings

First, navigate to your user profile settings.

  1. Click your profile name in the top-right corner of OneCrew.

  2. Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Once on the Profile Settings page, locate and select the Notifications section.

This area allows you to manage how you receive alerts for activity within OneCrew.

Part 2: Choose How You Want to Be Notified

Next, configure how you want notifications delivered.

  1. Review the list of available notification events.

  2. For each event, choose how you want to be notified:

    • In-App – Receive an alert inside OneCrew through the notification icon.

    • Email – Receive a message sent to your account email address.

  3. You can enable both options if you want to receive the notification inside OneCrew and by email.

If you prefer not to receive email alerts for a specific event, simply leave the email option unchecked.

Part 3: Configure Project Notification Preferences

You can also customize how project-related notifications work.

  1. At the top of the notification settings, choose whether you want updates for:

    • Projects assigned to you, or

    • All projects in the account.

  2. If you disable notifications for all statuses, you can instead select specific project statuses you want to track.

Common project status notifications include updates when a project moves through stages such as:

  • Lead

  • Proposal

  • Estimate

  • Accepted

  • Completed

This flexibility allows you to receive notifications only for the project stages that are relevant to your work.

Part 4: Save Your Notification Preferences

After configuring your settings:

  1. Click the Save button.

  2. Your selected notification preferences will now apply to your account.

Be sure to save your changes so your notification settings are properly updated.

Insight

If you're actively managing projects, enabling both in-app and email notifications can help ensure you never miss an important update. However, if you receive too many emails, you can keep in-app notifications enabled while disabling email alerts to reduce inbox clutter.
